The Sutherlin Lions Noon Club held a wonderful meeting this week where District Governor Nancy Patzer presented awards to our talented Peace Poster Contest winners. Congratulations to all of our amazing young artists for their outstanding creativity and effort!
A special thank-you goes to art teacher Dan Wilson, who inspired and guided students through the process — resulting in an impressive 120 student entries this year. That’s 120 students from our schools sharing their vision of peace through art — a reflection of the creativity and heart that thrive in our classrooms every day.
We also want to recognize Jon Martz for coordinating this event for the Lions Club and for his continued support of our schools and students. Partnerships like these between our community organizations and schools make a real difference.
