Health Curriculum Update
K-8 Grade: Sutherlin School District is adopting a new health curriculum for students in kindergarten through 8th grade to support healthy habits and overall well-being. The curriculum is called The Great Body Shop by The Children’s Health Market. It will be on display at the district office through May 22. Come by and check it out. It is also available for preview online: https://www.thegreatbodyshop.net/curriculum/k-six

Why This Matters
This curriculum helps students:
Develop healthy routines early
Build social and emotional skills

Our favorite part: This curriculum is delivered in a “newsletter” format, and students can take the reading home each month for families to read with their students. Parents will know exactly what we are teaching in our health classrooms.
