Resolving issues related to Microsoft Teams parent email accounts:

If you checked your email and do not have a Microsoft Teams email invitation.

  • Ask the teacher to remove and re-add you as a member of the Microsoft team. This operation will generate an email.

If you forgot your password you can get a one-time passcode sent to your email. You will see this option when you sign in to Microsoft Teams and Microsoft has detected you have an active account.

You signed in to Microsoft but do not see you are part of a Microsoft Team in "DC K12 Cloud".

  • Click on your Circle Profile icon.

  • At the bottom under "Accounts and Orgs" make sure that "DC K12 Cloud (Guest)" is selected.

CTL J2/J4 (Black) Models:

Teams on the Chrome Browser crashes when joining a Team Conference.

Solution: Use the Teams pinned app located at the bottom of the taskbar.

CTL NL6 (White) and Samsung XE303C12 (Grey):

The Teams app is not pinned to the taskbar. This model of Chromebooks does not support the Google Play store; therefore cannot install the Teams app.

Solution: Launch Teams through the chrome browser.

GOOGLE AND MICROSOFT ACCOUNTS ARE NOW ONE AND THE SAME.

All students at Sutherlin School District will have access to Google Education products and Microsoft Products.

  • Staff and Students will use Microsoft Teams for communication and conferencing.

  • Google Education applications will be used by Teachers and Students to distribute curriculum, assignments and to turn in homework.
