Our Makerspace classes are building bridges this week! They are testing the strength of the bridge and doing a lot of research about how to construct the most stable and strong bridge. Check out the pictures to see our students' creativity coming to life. Great job Makerspace!
Ms. Feagins 8th grade Science students are building a roller coaster to launch a marble through. They are learning about how to construct them to successful hold the weight of a marble, but also add some creativity to the shape of it as well. What a great way to cap off the year. Nice job Ms. Feagins and our 8th Grade Science students!

We have been celebrating Spirit Week all week at SMS and it has been fun! Today was something you never wear day. Thank you leadership for always putting such thought into our Spirit Week's and capping them off with a dance on Friday!

This week Band and Choir have their final concerts of the year. Band performs tonight 5/24 at 7:00 and Choir performs 5/26 at 7:00. Both performances will be in the high school gym. Come check out the hard work the middle school and high school music departments have put in this year!
Attention incoming 6th grade families: we are hosting a parent night for students and families to come to SMS and meet our staff and learn the layout of our campus. We will be having lots of fun and serving ice cream to our future Bulldog students! We can't wait to meet you all!
Our Makerspace have been having so much fun creating, cutting, and weeding vinyl stickers this last week or so. It is awesome to see the students' creativity come to life and see their excitement when they have a sticker to take home with them. Great job to Mr. Wilson and Mr. Merrell and all of our Makerspace students!

Friday: Hawaiian Day with our Luau dance after school.
The STEAM Extravaganza is a fun family event.
