Sutherlin is a great place to live filled with kind, generous people. Middle schoolers are stepping up and helping a local family with our Pennies for Patients drive. If you can, please contribute to your ELT’s jar this week to support Ryan, a local five year old fighting Ewing Sarcoma, a cancer of bone tissue. The ELT that raises the most gets a pizza lunch and contributes to a great cause.

Good evening Bulldogs!
Just a reminder, there is NO SCHOOL tomorrow 10/8 for middle and high school students. East and West are still in session. Have a great three day weekend!

Good Morning Bulldogs!
Next Monday we will be kicking off our annual Pennies for Patients Drive. This is a competition between ELTs to raise as much money possible for a local family who has a 5 year old son battling cancer. All you need to do to help is bring in any loose change (or dollar bills) that you have to your ELT. The ELT that raises the most money will win a pizza luncheon. Please talk to any leadership student or call the office if you have any questions.

It was Fall Y’all! Well…it still is, but here are pictures from our “Fall Y’all” dance. Big thanks to SMS leadership for organizing and Jeremy from Family Church for upgrading our sound system!

All 6th graders will begin tomorrow in the Activity Center (the first building on the left up the main campus steps) and then will move through a series of activities throughout the day with our staff.
7th and 8th graders will start Tuesday at the AC with schedule pickups and then an assembly in the gym, along with a modified schedule while sixth graders go to the normal classes.
As a reminder, all students will need to wear a mask. If you forget one, don't worry, we'll have them available on campus. Classes start at 8:00 AM Monday for 6th graders, with the day ending at 3:12. 7th and 8th graders will start Tuesday at 8:00 AM.
