Reminder, tomorrow is our first Friday release , on Fridays the school day ends at 11:30. Buses depart East at 11:20 and pick-ups will begin on 4th at 11:15. Please contact the office before 10:00 a.m. with any changes to your child's after school plans.
Welcome Families
Drops-offs and Pick-ups:
We are excited to welcome both new and returning parents to East Primary. Please have patience as new parents learn the routines of morning drop-offs and afternoon pickups.
To speed up the process follow these tips:
1. Stay in your vehicle. We will help your child out or into the vehicle.
2. Help by rolling your car forward as other parents drop off or pick up their students.
3. Prepare your child by teaching them how to unbuckle or buckle into car seats or seat belts.
4. At pick-ups place the name plate on the passenger side dash. If you do not have one it will be provided on the first day of school.
We promise both will move quicker as everyone learns and follows these routines!
We can't wait to see you on the first day of school, Monday, August 29th. The front doors open at 7:30 a.m. School starts at 8:00 a.m.
All first and second graders will attend Monday-Thursday.
Kindergarten students will either attend for two full days on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday. There will be no school on Friday, September 2nd. Welcome Back Bulldog Pups!!
The first week of school is an emotional and exciting event for families! Please join us on Monday and Tuesday from 8-9 in our East Library for "Tears and Cheers". Comfort and Coffee will be provided!
Meet and Greet today from 2-4, August 25. Come see the classrooms, meet the East Primary staff and play on our new playground!
Sutherlin Valley Recreation Sports Registration is happening now. New to the program 7/8 Soccer. Registration closes Friday, September 2nd @ 9PM.

Greetings, on-line registration is open for the 2022-2023 school year https://www.sutherlin.k12.or.us/page/student-enrollment. If you need assistance the East Primary office will reopen on August 10th. Please call 541-459-2912 starting August 10th or stop by the office. On August 10th and 11th the office will be open from 8:00-4:00. Then starting on August 15th the office will be open 7:30-3:30, Monday through Thursday until school starts on August 29th. We are looking forward to a great year!
