It is an interactive class, and families will take home many hands-on activities and manipulatives to use with their child during the learning process. The series of classes will be held 3 times this year in the evenings from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at East Primary School. Childcare and dinner will be provided.

The vaccine exemption deadline is February 25, 2026.
Students who do not have up-to-date immunizations or a completed nonmedical exemption form on file will be excluded from school and may not return until the requirement is completed.
💉 Where can you obtain immunizations?
✔️ Contact your child’s medical provider. This is also a great opportunity to schedule a well-child check if one is needed.
✔️ If your medical provider is unavailable, immunizations are available at Aviva Health.

✔️ Pharmacies can immunize children 7 years and older without a prescription, or younger children with a prescription.
⚠️ Important: Children on OHP/UHA or DMAP cannot receive vaccines at a pharmacy. They must receive immunizations at a clinic.

Happy Winter Break Everyone! It was a wonderful last day of school. We were visited by high school carolers, middle school friends, the gingerbread man, and even Santa himself! Thank you to everyone who made it so magical. Wishing all our East families a safe and happy holiday.

Our first graders will be spreading holiday cheer with caroling in downtown Sutherlin on Monday, December 15th, from 1:00 to 1:45 PM. If the weather becomes an issue, we will reschedule to Wednesday, December 17th. A TEAMS notification will be sent on Monday, December 15th, in the morning if plans change.
A few reminders:
All attending adults must be on our approved volunteer list.
Please dress your child warmly—we’ll be walking from East Primary to several local businesses, and it can get chilly.
