What an incredible showing by the Sutherlin High School Wrestling Team at the OSAA 3A Special District 3 Wrestling Tournament held at Coquille High School!
The Sutherlin Bulldogs placed 3rd overall, and we couldn’t be more proud of their hard work, effort, and determination! The Bulldog boys are advancing 8 wrestlers to state, and their journey isn’t over yet! The Bulldogs wrestle next Thursday and Friday in Portland at the 3A OSAA State Meet! 🏆
A HUGE shoutout to the athletes who finished in the top 3 and earned their spot at the state meet next week:

Sutherlin Families: Feb. 19 is School Exclusion Day, and the Oregon Immunization Program reminds parents that children cannot attend school or child care starting that day if their records on file show missing immunizations. Sutherlin School District is partnering with Evergreen Family Medicine to hold an immunization clinic at Sutherlin Middle School on February 12. The clinic will run from 8 am to 3 pm. Sutherlin School District was proud to participate in Wreaths Across America: Our district had 28 students and 4 staff members, along with several parents representing Sutherlin at this ceremony. Adults and students laid wreaths at the headstones of military graves, saying the name of the service member and thanking them for their service.
As a reminder, winter break is fast approaching. There is one more week of school before two weeks of enjoying the winter holidays and activities.
