SHS Fire Science class had their third and final field trip for the semester to the Sutherlin Fire Department this past week. This trip culminated in their study of the science of fire behavior and structure fire. While at the fire department, students assisted in the burning of a model house created by SHS’s CTE program. Students learned how fire develops and how to control it using various methods.
SHS Parents, This is a friendly reminder that final exams are scheduled for today, tomorrow, and Friday. Additionally, Thursday and Friday will be half days for students. Please be aware that transportation will be limited on Thursday. If your student regularly rides the bus, we kindly request that you contact Bev at 541-459-9551 ASAP. This will help us ensure that transportation arrangements are made accordingly, especially considering there will be buses driving both East and West of town only.
